Terms of service
The service
chatwithdev gives you a chat bubble for your website and delivers the messages to your Telegram, your email and a dashboard, with tools to answer them. You get an account, a project per site, and the plan you pick.
Your account
- You must be able to enter a contract and give a working email address.
- You are responsible for what happens under your login and for the people you invite.
- You own your data and your visitors' data; we process it for you as described in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
Fair use
Do not use chatwithdev to send spam, to harass people, to collect data you have no right to collect, or to break the law of the place you operate in. Do not try to break into other people's projects. We may suspend a project that does any of this, and we will tell you why.
Plans and payment
- New projects get Pro free for fourteen days, no card needed. When the trial ends, the free plan applies with five customer messages each month. You are only charged if you choose a paid subscription.
- Paid plans are billed by Stripe monthly or yearly, in advance, and renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the dashboard; the plan stays until the period you paid for ends.
- If we raise a price, existing subscriptions keep their price for the current period and we tell you at least thirty days before a change.
Availability
We aim for the service to be up all the time and we monitor it, but we do not promise it. Messages are stored first and delivered second, so a hiccup on Telegram's side or ours does not lose a message. If we ever have to stop the service, you get at least sixty days' notice and a way to export everything.
Liability
We provide the service as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or lost data beyond what we can restore, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending
You can request account deletion by emailing hello@chatwithdev.com; your data is removed within thirty days. We can end the agreement with thirty days' notice, or right away if you break the fair use rules.
